How it fits together

Think of it as Jira for sponsorships. A property is a workspace. Contracts feed it assets, the way epics hold work. Each asset breaks into tasks: deliveries, approvals, activations, hospitality, reports and contract deadlines.

Task workflow

from the Scrum Board template
Backlog→To do→In progress→To be verified→Done
Asset stage (Done, In progress, To do, On hold, as in the Loop asset tracker) rolls up from its tasks unless set by hand.

Task types

Delivery Something the rights holder or we must deliver: signage live, spots produced
Approval Creative or marks sign-off, by CBI (gold) or the rights holder
Activation Event, watch party, theme night, promotion
Hospitality Suites, seats, ticket bank, VIP experiences
Planning Map the games, plan creative, mid-season checks
Report Recaps and competitive reports
Obligation Contract deadline or rule: brand selection, forfeiture, renewal

Worked example: one contract, three workspaces

AAC · Mavs · Stars 2024-28 has three rights holders, each with its own schedule.
American Airlines Center · Sch. 2.1→ shows in both Mavericks and Stars workspaces as shared venue assets
Dallas Mavericks · Sch. 2.2→ Mavericks workspace (SBU, Tier 1)
Dallas Stars · Sch. 2.3→ Stars workspace (SBU, Tier 2)
An asset like Consumer watch parties: 6 per season becomes six Activation tasks, each with action items owned by different people: the bar booked by the Account Manager, team personalities by the Mavericks, ambassadors by the experiential agency. A theme night splits into workstreams (concept, creative, giveaway, staffing, the night, recap) under one senior owner. In-arena L-Bars at all events becomes a short playbook (map the games, plan creative, CBI sign-off, submit to the arena, mid-season check) plus a game-by-game run log that marks every past game as delivered unless someone flags a miss.
